EQUINE NASOGASTRIC INTUBATION & UPPER AIRWAY ENDOSCOPY

Equine veterinarians commonly pass a nasogastric tube to remove excess gas or fluid from the horse’s stomach or use a videoendoscope to examine the upper airway. The goal of this iBook is to illustrate the anatomy of the upper respiratory tract as it relates to performance of these two procedures.
